Our supplier code of conduct outlines Seragon's' expectations in responsible and transparent procurement, as well as compliance with our commitments to protect worker’s health and safety, promote environmental sustainability, and provide products and services that adhere to the best practices
Seragon requires all our suppliers and business partners to perform in accordance with our supplier conduct and demonstrate these expectations in their business, management procedures, leadership, and distribution networks. Our supplier partners are critical to our operations, so we aim to communicate these partner requirements before working with third parties to ensure that all of Seragon’s business activities follow the values outlined in our summarised code.

Labor and human rights
We do not tolerate any form of abuse of illegal labor in our supply chain, including the recruitment, transportation, or harboring of a person for the purpose of exploitation. We require that our suppliers provide accurate information about their employment as well as respect the rights of their workers by allowing freedom of association where it is not restricted by local laws.
Non-discrimination and harassment
Discrimination, which is prejudice against a certain background, race, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, political beliefs, religion, or other grounds, is not tolerated by Seragon Pharmaceuticals. We engage in fair employment practices that we expect in our suppliers, including in decisions made about compensation, benefits, promotions, and termination.
We support diverse suppliers who give Seragon a competitive edge in mobilising resources and we promote economic opportunities in local communities by working with those considered to be small and diverse suppliers.
Our supplier conduct defines respect for all workers and we engage in the protection of diversity & inclusion in the workplace. Seragon does not tolerate harassment or any other form of unfair treatment.
Workforce health and benefits
We uphold providing for the basic needs of our workers and in our suppliers. We coordinate with supplier parties to ensure that wages are paid on time and reflect the legally mandated rates, as well as make work schedules adhere with applicable laws. Seragon also requires that our suppliers provide a safe, healthy working environment that provides workers with employee training, implements safety policies and procedures, and reasonable facilities to accommodate their needs.
Sustainable environmental practices
We are greatly committed to supporting sustainability measures that reduce Seragon’s environmental impact across our supply chain. Our suppliers operate in compliance with all government environmental regulations for waste disposal, emission rates, and substance treatment. We encourage our suppliers to follow Seragon in measuring environmental impacts such as water consumption, carbon emissions, and proper disposal of hazardous or toxic ingredients to proactively manage a responsible supply chain.
Ethical business approach
Our values for ethical business conduct and operations are outlined in our supplier code, expressing high standards of transparency and responsibility to the people we serve. Our suppliers’ businesses abide by fair, legal, and honest dealings and adhere to government regulations regarding corruption, extortion, and conflicts of interest. Any information that Seragon obtains and shares with our suppliers is used with discretion that reflects our commitment to privacy and responsible dealings.
We encourage our suppliers to provide adequate mechanisms that allow for their workers to address violations or concerns of this code with confidentiality that protect against retribution or retaliation.
